I grew up on Eastside, near San Gabriel Mission so very into our history. I now live in L.A. West/Pico & La Cienega area & find it very convenient for public transit, even without Subway extending this far yet. I gave up my car about 10 yrs ago (after driving almost 40 yrs here...eek) & really have not missed vehicle at all. My EZ Transit pass gives me unlimited travel on Santa Monica Blue Bus to work, MTA's RED BUSSES, regular lines, Subways & light train lines to Long Beach, Pasadena & more. My company pays me not to park & that covers pass x4! So.... FREE unlimited travel is a terrific way to go!

Will visit here again soon. Posting pic from near me opening of Broad Contemporary Art Musuem @ LACMA, a few years back. I have found I really enjoy photo snapping tremendously.
