Los Angeles Museums

There are so many Los Angeles museums that we still haven't been to them all. For some reason, our city isn't known as a museum heavy city by outsiders, but that is yet another silly misconception about LA. We've got a truckload. Good ones too.

I mean, come on, it's no wonder that our museums are great, there is a heck of a lot of money and history here, you know? From fine art to history to nature to cars to Hollywood, there is a ton of variety and culture waiting to be discovered.

Our theory is that people don't know about all the great Los Angeles museums because the weather is so wonderful here. People are too busy outside to go inside a museum. True, rainy days are rare here, so on the next one, visit a museum! Course, all of these that we mention are truly worth a visit even on the sunniest day...the sun will be here tomorrow too.

Petersen Automotive Museum
I'll be honest, I'm not into cars. That doesn't stop me from loving this museum though. Truly, even if you don't drool over automobiles you'll enjoy this place.

From vintage beauties, vintage weirdness, famous people cars and other historical gems they have a wide assortment that anyone will find interesting. Did you know that LACMA is the largest art museum west of the Mississippi? Did you know that there are easy ways you can get in free every single day? Did you know your kids always get in free?
