Wallys Wine

wallys wineWallys Wine in West Los Angeles has been around for many years and has grown to be known in Los Angeles as the wine shop to the stars. Although the size of the wine shop itself is not huge, they carry a large selection of wines and spirits from around the world much of which is housed in other temperature-controlled storage spaces.

Wally's primary focus seems to be mostly on high-end wines from the world's most famous wine regions such as Bordeaux, Burgundy, Piedmont, Tuscany, Australia and California. Their selection of fine wines from these regions is impressive. While they do carry wines from many other regions and at lower price points, this does not seem to be their strong suit. For example, while they do carry wines from Alsace, the Loire, Provence, Germany and Austria, their selection is not nearly as deep.

Probably the biggest complaint about Wally's is that they are rarely the cheapest option in town. However, if specific high end wines are what you are looking for, they do serve this clientele very well.

Of note, Wally's has a very nice cheese bar in the shop.
